They Had Wings

I was very much inspired by a fanfic I read by about Winry's feelings after Ed & Al left her, and this is what came out of it. This fanart was very spur of the moment (one of my fastest CGs), since I had the colors/idea in my head the *second* I finished reading the fanfic. The story was very beautiful, and I tried to capture the bereft, melancholy feeling I got from it.

What I wouldn't give to make 'impromptu' art like this more often.
